Red 412 5sp on the block - does anyone know this car? Don't care for red on a 412 but the car appears to be well serviced and in very good condition. Bid estimates range from 50k to 60k USD

I think this is a better link as it directs you to the actual car:

    1986 Ferrari 412 - Hilton Head

As to the link provided previously in the post directly above mine, I simply did a search for Ferrari on all lots and my gosh, for those of you curious to actually see how the prices of many models have more than doubled in the past couple of years, its worth taking a look! It will leave you shocked and wishing you had bought one of them back then in order to get a handsome return on your investment and then some. Wow - here's that link:

I got a little distracted at the end, so I am not sure of the exact price, but I think the hammer price was $65k which exceed the high estimate of $60k which I thought was too low to begin with.

I've gone to Auto Moto epoca in Padova last week, was quite impressed by prices in general ... And by the small number of 365/400/412 offered... only one 400 and one 412... It seems as though they've disappeared ... Esp 365, which are now above 80 k € ... It was 20~30 5 years ago ... is this another bubble or just the recognition of the true value ?

Anyone know what the buyer's premium was over the $65K hammer price?

    Cheers!

10% so I am expecting the final sale price to be $71,500 assuming I got the hammer price correct at $65k.

By the way, the car looks pretty good in the pictures and I would say the buyer paid a very fair price. Did anyone see the car in person?

Looks like this beauty is up for sale again: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/0520/Open-Roads-North-America/lots/r0005-1986-Ferrari-412/916303?&utm_source=rmsothebys.com&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=0520&utm_term=0520_RTB&utm_content=lot_image&_cldee=amVhbmVyaWNsYXVyZW50QGdtYWlsLmNvbQ==&recipientid=contact-2eb03d22db73ea118243000c2971a03a-a283adde250c4d2fb4244a6704ac19c8&esid=aa55dbf9-35c8-ea11-824e-000c2971a03a

Curious that they post no estimate of hammer price.

I noticed that the exhaust seems to be mis aligned, looking at it from the side... the center section seems much lower in the front than in the back. Otherwise as beautiful as ever.
