This past weekend the Hilton Head Motoring Festival and Concours held at Honey Horn Plantation in Hilton Head, SC.

At the Saturday "Car Club Jamboree" there were probably around 10 Ferrari's, most from the FCA South Carolina Chapter, which they gracefully allowed me to attend with their Group. While there, my 1972 Dino won the Best European Car award.

On Sunday, at the HH Concours, my Dino was the only Ferrari on the Show Field. The Dino was in the Preservation/Unrestored Class, and took second (the Palmetto Award). The other Class that it was eligible for was the European Class.

This link shows the winners from both days:

While discussing the lack of Ferrari presence with the Concours Director, he mentioned that if I could get enough cars together for next year, he may be able to come up with an Italian Class, or a Ferrari Class. To participate, your Italian vehicle must be 1972 and earlier.

So, if you have an Italian car that would like to participate in next year's Hilton Head Concours, or you know someone that has one please PM me, as I am putting together a list for a possible new Class

    Beautiful car, Jack!

Thanks for allowing me to check it out at the Mickey D's while you and your wife were traveling back home.

Yours is the first (and only) Dino I've had the privilege of viewing in person.
