    I'm hoping the crew here might be able to help. I'm putting together an event in March and am interested in hiring an event planner/coordinator who will run and execute the event. However, I'm inexperienced working with event planners and do not know what their duties usually entail and what kind of compensation is expected.

    If anyone can lend me some insight into this I would greatly appreciate it.
