New to me 2002 360. Had a shop put new pads on the front and do a brake flush. Seemed fine the first few miles, but today brake pedal seems to be slightly softer and it makes a hissing sound when pressed. Overall brakes still ok at the wheels. Have not spoke with the shop yet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Brake pedals usually do make a hissing noise. Suspect maybe you're looking for differences and noticing something you never noticed before.

However, given the sensitivity of this (safety) if you're concerned you need to go back and have it checked!

Had a similar issue with mine when I did the brake pads first time on my car.. There are 2 nipples on the brake master cylinder itself that they probably didn't bleed. Ferrari workshop manual recommends these be bled as well if the brake pedal is soft. Make me wonder if they even flushed things..

Open front trunk, remove panel in front of windshield, two nipples on brake master cyinder, one between the brake lines, one on tip of master cylinder. Open these with a wrench and bleed regularly i think it's inner nipple then outer nipple...

Agreed. Also, have you started the engine since you bled the brakes? You will have exhausted the brake servo pumping the pedal, which will cause a hissing noise.

most likely some residual air trapped in the system.

Thanks guys....pedal was fine at first, during a drive yesterday pedal seemed to go slightly softer and excessive interior hissing noise. Will have the shop bleed it again next week, just a little worried that it was fine at first.
