So who's all going this weekend? Any F-chatters? Jdubbya - Still up for meeting in the AM? I will be heading out both Saturday and Sunday so let me know what works for you.
Chris, I'll be going at least Saturday and probably Sunday. What time would you like to meet and where? John
No kidding! After a half hour on the fence I was deaf from the Transam cars last year. It will save yourself a headache. Anybody know where our corral is going to be located? See you guys Saturday and Sunday.
What do you say about 8ish at the Starbucks off Olympic Drive next to the QFC? Just confirm which day(s) and I'll be there. we can meet up earlier or later as well... completely flexible.
....are you commenting on my balding ass/white skin already? Did you get tired of the glare off "the spot" on the way home from Vancouver? God I just met you Dave and already feel let down Just kidding....I made it to the Historics in Napa, CA a few weeks ago and can agree with all the above! glad to hear a few of you are making it, look forward to meet some of you.
Chris, 8:00 sounds good, that should get us there around 9:00 or before. I'll see you there. I'll definitely be there Saturday and I'll let you know about Sunday but will probably make it both days Dana, The letter I got with the tickets said they were trying to get the Ferrari corral on the front straight. By the way, thanks for the help with the wheels, they are going to fit just fine. I just have to go get them put on. Gonna try for tomorrow!! See you guys this weekend!! John
DJ are you going to stop anywhere in Seattle on Saturday morning like you did last year to meet up with anyone.......
8:15 on I-5 near the north end of Boeing Field, opposite the delivery center. Me in the Oldyellow308, Robert's black TR and possibly Rick in his black Pantera. Maybe Kuzi if he can get his butt out of bed....................................................
Hey I'm up every morning weekday/weekend no later than 6am............must be the age thingy Sorry guys, I can't make it this year. Got house purchasing stuff to take care of this weekend.
Got 'em done today!!! They look great. Didn't have much time to try them out but I will tomorrow. No problems with the install either. I went to the same guys I've been dealing with for years. See you Saturday. John
I'm going. The road racing is new to me. Drag racing was my motor sport of choice and still enjoy it but going fast and turning is great too. I just purchased a black 1990 348TS and enjoy driving it on winding roads. It sounds great with the top off.
DM, My dad used to sneak me in to the drags stuffed in the spare tire compartment of his station wagon, right here at Pacific Raceways, back in the 60's when it was called Kent Pacific Raceways. I too am a convert but it didn't take much because my buddies and I got tired of cars that wouldn't corner. Now it is just a love of good engineering and performance, doesn't matter what kind of car. Instead of 6 to 12 seconds of adrenaline per run a road racer gets to pit his skills and car against others for 20 or 30 minutes. Hopefully I'll get to join these guys in the future. Come by the Ferrari corral and introduce yourself. We all would be happy to meet you if you haven't do so already! Spasso
Looking forward to meeting you Dave....if you get there before me, save me a spot next to ya......JW and I will be leaving the Harbor around 8ish so we'll be there relatively early. See you then -
