Looking at buying this next week. I've done reading and tried to pick up as much as I could. Was just sent this by the dealer and wondering if looking over it there is anything that jumps out there or missing. Please take a look if you have a few mins thanks

Any records from the last 7 years? The records provided are missing a lot of details. I would pass if those are the only records available unless you’re getting a great deal.

Waiting on more. Apparently the dealer in Quebec has it all. Not totally sure until I speak to them this week

Prior service history was critical to me when I was 430 shopping. Clutch life remaining at this time, last full service (all fluids)? Are you having an independent PPI done? Highly recommended if you’re not familiar with the 430’s quirks. Repairs due to deferred maintenance can get very expensive.

I second getting a PPI done. If it’s the one I think it is, The car seems to be priced pretty low below market right now.

Unfortunately I’m not sure who the reputable independents are in Halifax?

Thats the problem. Not a lot of options here except sending it to Montreal. I'm going to be contacting them this week about it. I was told they are familiar with the car also and have the records of it.
It's priced well. Not a big market around here for Ferraris and nowhere close to service is the major issue.

Seems even the Ferrari dealerships aren't that great at the older cars (Techs don't seem to stick around for 15+ years) so do not feel so bad.

    F430 over 360. I hear less headaches from f430s vs 360 owners

In the grand scheme of things 20k is not enough to sway decision either way, you have to go with your heart, the one you daydream about most.

You can try to make a rational decision, but it often ends up being luck in the end. For example my 430 was pretty low cost for the past few years, just yearly fluids. It still drives perfect, but I decided to do a lot of preventative maintenance this year/headers, and I’m in 18k so far.

If you don’t have a lot of options for Ferrari service locally I would find one your comfortable with before purchase. It could be a lot of stress and headaches otherwise. Just my 2 cents

Thats what I am sort of reading. I have always liked the 360 look though. Always wanted a red one. I dont like red in a 430 for some reason and like the black like this one forsale. Its a tough decision. Still waiting on more info from the dealer

When you say 18k, what did you end up doing?

Annual fluids/filters, aux belt, spark plugs, new Michelin ps4s + alignment, agm battery, capristo manifold/bracket. Unexpected was worn engine mounts, front ball joints and leaking valve cover gaskets.

Remember the actual price is difference between purchase and later resale. If you think that a 430 will sell for 20K more when time comes, then the two cars will cost the same in the end.I think so.

Ya that's the thing. I just always liked the 360 better and red is the color I wanted. I was thinking the 430 because people say it's faster/nicer working and it's easily accessible. Just 20 mins away vs 10 hours

If you can be patient, I would suggest you wait for the exact car you want.
If your dream car car is a Red 360...that's the car you need to buy!

Red 360's come on the market quite often.
Hopefully one will show up for sale set up just like you want and not too far away.
    Good luck with your search!!!

Honestly for me Quebec is as close as it's getting from a dealer. Am I correct in thinking I have a better chance at getting something that is in well maintained shape from a dealer vs private sale? Can't see why not

I live on Maui. Nearest dealer is on another island. Costs 1500 RT to send the car.
