    Hi all,
I'm new on here and just looking to buy a really tidy looking 1981 308 GTB - red/black interior.
I've had two Ferrari's in the past.
This seems a great car, originally a Euro spec car but sold to a guy who first registered it in California?
    I have a vin number: ZFFHA01B000034657.
There is no early history with the car, it have very high mileage 120K - but drives spot-on, have good even compression test results all 160-165, and has a GBP £15K bill for mechanical refurb and full service - all new suspension, brakes, original spec Michelins etc.

Does anyone know of this car?

    Cheers, Stu

    Hi Stu
I seem to have (or better or worse) bought this car at auction and it seems really nice, it certainly drives well with new suspension and brakes etc. It has a lot of really good bits on it now and the fundementals seem very good.
A few electrical issues, but nothing major. Like you I'm trying to piece a bit of info together, where was it advertised when you were looking at it in January and can I ask where you got compression figures from?
    Any help gratefully recieved!
    Thanks

    Nick
