Nauruan is a Pacific Ocean Island east of Australia about 1,800 miles. It was the richest nation in the World per capita until last couple of decades when its phosphate supply ran out and its now one of the poorest. There are stories of Ferraris being on this remote island and many may still be there. National speed limit only 25 MPH and only 15 miles square.

    Hmmm, another Sultan-of-Brunei-like-barn-find... :)

According to the article, the bulk of the cars were brought in during the '70's to '80's. I'd guess that'd be mostly 308's, Mondial's and maybe a few Boxers.

Oay, so everybody pool some money and buy me a plane ticket, and I'll fly there, scout out the automotive locale, and report back.

The only car of any significance in Nauru at one time was a Lambo, which was taken to Melbourne. A lot of the cars were American origin, and had a relatively short life there, namely due to the fact that if something broke, the car was left were it broke and they bought a new one. Rust was a huge problem also and the salt got into every part. Sorry guys but I very much doubt if there are any cars of significance there at all. The closest you may get to that would be a 40's jeep. Used to be a couple of them there once, that were in reasonable condition.
