What is to fear? Dealer serviced, and they are selling it, so you should be confident they will stand behind it. Plan on a set of new exhaust manifolds around 17k to 20k miles. Other than that, drive and enjoy! ;)

I like how it is listed as a 4 cylinder 5 speed. From a Ferrari dealer I would expect them to know it's a 6 speed 8. Anyone else have the 4 cylinder 5 speed option.

I didn't catch that. I guess the major service was done at half cost. (Doh!)

    6spd or F1?

Is it listed anywhere? Obviously there are a host of considerations to place a value on a car... condition, mileage, service history, upgrades, etc.

I mean, at first glance $79k could be a steal for a 99. But if its a ratty car in need of major service and clutch with 28k on the clock in snow country it could be a hard car for the seller to move for a while.

I found a 99 earlier this year with 17k miles advertised for $85k. (Seller wanted 70-75 for it.) But it had been wrecked, repo'ed, robbed of an passenger airbag, broken headlight, other misc. issues. The best I could say about it, was that it sounded great with the Capristo exhaust.

It doesn't need to be, 97 was only offered in 6spd, F1 began in 98 models and went onto 99.

Looks like a very nice car. The mileage is ridiculous (IF real). Love the old-school phone.
