Does anyone know the history of this '99 F355 Spider? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-FERRARI-355-F1-SPIDER-MAJOR-SERVICE-DONE_W0QQitemZ320212703938QQihZ011QQcategoryZ157044QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem The Vin is ZFFXR48A6X0114900. I am about a year or two from acquiring my first Ferrari, but this one is looking very tempting ;-). Thanks in advance. Manny
Your asking now about a car you may acquire in a year or two? Just a suggestion, but maybe start your search when you are close to being able to buy the car...This car may change hands 3 times in the next year...
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am not asking asking for the history of a car I plan to purchase in a year or two. That just wouldn't make any sense. Like you stated who knows where this car would be in a year. I was just curious if anyone had any history on this one (e.g. accidents, etc.). I had no plans to purchase a Ferrari in the near future. The only reason I am inquiring about this one is that really clean F355s with piping on the seats are not very common. I keep going back and forth on waiting 2 years or so and getting a F430 or getting an immacute F355. Sorry to have wasted the board's time. Manny
I think he means hes "was" planning on a year or two, but this one has caught his eye making him consider now. I have no info on the car but from a financial perspective I'm not real confident prices will hold if the market does what I think it will. Then again, Ferrari's seem quite recession resistant. Your not wasting my time...I love to talk F car....(obviously posted at the same time you replied)
Thanks for the response. I agree with you on the market, so I am keeping the economy in mind as well. I have always loved Ferraris. I used to own a Lotus Esprit which I sold shortly after my twin daughters were born but I miss owning and driving an exotic.
