I know everyone thinks that hit-and-runs are the worst thing that can be done...but let me tell you, you have no idea until it's done to you.

This past Saturday I ran out to pick up pizza to eat with my grandparents, I took my grandpas 2005 XKR Convertible because it was a beautiful day, and I wanted to enjoy the convertible while I still could.

I was doing about 50 on the service road of the expressway when some big red Tahoe came up alongside me and was clearly looking for a race. I stayed my speed, but apparently that wasn't enough for him so he cut me off. This monstrous truck clipped the front of the Jag and pushed me into the brush. I took down a good 30 ft chainlink fence and a few trees.

Fortunately, I was able to get out of the car when it started smoking. I fractured my nose in three places and some other bones in my face (airbags did not deploy.) I had to hike back to the service road covered in blood, and wave someone down for help.

After all of this, I realized that the jerk that did this to me just left the scene. He clearly knew what he had done...his car must have considerable damage as well, but he just left me for dead. How does someone just do that?? I truely do not understand.

I know there's not much you guys can do, but I've been going stir crazy at home trying to recover (nosejobs hurt like a *****)

Happy Thanksgiving. The guy is a jerk and the accident was needless. Thank goodness you can live to talk about it. Maybe someone was a witness and will turn him in for you. I hope you have a full recovery.
