Just saw a Silver Huayra in Sps waiting to be delivered anyone here... And also the orange Pagani Cinque
Correct me if I am wrong there are 3 allready which the owners have allready collected . I believe it should be road registered . I guess someone here should be better informed than me.
Today was by far the biggest turn out i've seen at Shek O, the Cayman/Boxster club and Lotus club took up a lot of space! Very interesting cars. Is that a sports car club? I'm just wondering if there can be a link with the local sports car club here. Andy Manila
Ugh! I miss going on car spotting adventures with my dad years ago in Hong Kong. Hopefully I'll make it back sometime next year.
There are so many different groups in HK, no "one" defined sports car club. The most famous one would be the SMD (Sunday Morning Driver) group; Notoriously known for very high speed driving on public roads in super/hyper cars. There is no need for a website, they are at the same place almost every sunday morning.
Hi... I'm in HK, how do I find out where and when these meetings take place ?? I'd love to meet (but I have no car - ) Thanks
Usually around 8am on Sundays. The SMD group usually go to Luk Keng or Tai Mei Tuk, which is almost at the China border. The other popular place is Shek O, south of hk island. But this weekend is Rugby Sevens, so we are guessing there ain't going to be much happening.
This past Sunday, SMD club 3rd anniversary. Photo credits to Chester Ng Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i even like the looks. car simply too big for hk imo. parking an ff in causeway bay or wan chai multistory carpark would require real skill!
First I wanted to resurrect this thread back to it former glory at the top of the page and secondly to show this picture of a Gumpert Apollo which I had the pleasure of following home the other evening. Quite simply the best sound I have ever heard coming from the back end of a car. reminds me of an old ski race boat we had back in UK with an 8.2 Litre Chevy block and straight through pipes out of the back of the boat. This car has a very pleasant yet very impressive sound. PAUL Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a great highway car and yes city driving can be a pain which I would gladly live with 😁 The prices in singapore for the FF is still maintaining . I hope to get one in Sydney end year.
