Holding a grudge for 3 years......

A friend of mine (doesn't know about cars)told me that he got in an arguement with a friend (car fanatic), about something. During the arguement, this person brought up something completely off the topic, that's been bugging him for the last 3 years. 3 years ago, this guy had just gotten his car painted. He had a shop professionally stripped it down, painted , color sanded etc... My friend told me that his friend, was still upset at him for setting his keys on his brand new paint job (on the hood). I told him that they were both in the wrong, my friend for actually doing such a thing and his friend for not saying something right then. I tried to explain to him about someone's passion and the work involved in the paint job. I would have been pissed, but would've said something right then. He said, he didn't think anything of it.

 

I cringe at the thought of car keys being carelessly plonked on a new pristine paintjob. Its second to nails on chalk board.

Your friend has every right to be pissed and harbour that for as long as he did. At the time of the event, it may have seemed like nothing, but it sure as hell woulda bugged the **** out of him after that for the whole 3 years!

Are you kidding. My wife's POS brother-in-law has been holding a grudge against us for 10 years. And regardless of anyone's efforts to come to some sort of peace, he is nowhere near to burying the hatchet. Only thing for sure, he's going to die a bitter assh*le.

 

that is just disrespectful to put your keys on some elses car. I don't like to even touch someone else's car without permission.

It's too long and insanely stupid.

Suffice to say that this SOB (with the support of his parents) pretty much spilt up my wife's family, and (unsuccessfully) did all that he could to reek havoc on my relationship with my wife. This dumbf*ck IS the embodiment of evil and his wife (my wife's sister) is spineless & scared sh!tless of him. Come to think of it, everyone in my wife's family is scared of him.

Reminds me of my Italian uncle, he holds grudges too. He's still pissed at me for missing one of his birthdays, BUT he misses family gatherings all the time....
I just don't get people. Life is too short to get wrapped around the axle over things. I never understand how people get so upset over things that are written on fchat....geez, calm down, have a few brewskis.....
