    Toward the back of the mats there are oblong holes for "thingies" to keep the mats from sliding. Those "thingies" have an indented X and a hole. Is there supposed to be an attachment in that hole that can make a quarter turn to ACTUALLY hold the mats in place?

    I have the same problem, or similar. One of my "thingies" is missing.

    I use 2 sided carpet tape.......works like a charm.
