Holiday Party!

Well it's hard to see everyone if you don't come to club events.

 

We should have some swag coming in from an Official Partner of the FCA to pass out. We will find out how extensive their goody closet is at the end of the year.

 

Very bummed that I will miss the party, but we have a family wedding that night. Hope that you all have a great time.

If you are going to post about an FCA event that is members only, you need to be cautious about using this forum because obviously, there are non FCA members on this forum who might mistakenly think it is an FCA event open to the public.

I look to Shawn as the President to post FCA events that are appropriate to share with the public vs. kept private within the membership.

 

The only reason you went to the Fall Rally was because Shawn couldn't make it, & the last events you've gone to have been NON-Official FCA events! We're looking forward to seeing you at the Official FCA holiday party to show your support to the club!

I completely agree. However, it seems the president has publicly shared this event with details on another open and public forum and with no designation as to Members Only?

 

I can't speak for "another open and public forum". As I said in my post, I am referring to Fchat and issues that have been previously encountered based upon FCA member only events being mistaken as open events. I suggest you take up your issue with Shawn on the forum that is in question so it can be corrected.

My reply was trying to simply point out that Shawn already publicly shared this event, albeit in another forum. My mistake for thinking you were referring to any public forum and not specific to FChat.

It would stand to reason however, that regardless of which public forum a FCA event is displayed it can easily be misinterpreted as a FCA event that is open to the public, would it not? Particularly when a FCA event is not designated differently in said public forum? Seems logical.
