A few of us guys are getting together and fancy living it up and partying Houston Tx. Our priorities are - Partying - living the dream - women What area do you recommend staying in? Downtown OR near the Galleria OR somewhere else??? Also what hotel in the area? Price is a secondary concern (within reason), but we want to be close to the action (bars/clubs/women etc)..... Well, there's "hot spots" all over town..... If you need an Exotic Rental, go with Galleria area, a friend of mine is GM of the Hilton there... Downtown has a spectrum of clubs, from Hip Hop to real vintage blues....just opened a very nice House of Blues.... "Living the Dream" maybe I should hook you up with the Lambo Guys that were getting Table Service at the Blue Label Lounge.. But there's some real honky tonks left, too, if you want to chase cowgirls!!! Shout out when you touch down, there's a Ferrari Festival 12/04 and my pardner Jesse Dayton throws down at Continental Club 12/12.....closer to Christmas it may slow a little but I met 6' 1" Ukranian Olga on Christmas night last year... ANYTHING can happen!
Strip Clubs (that type of women??) run west from Galleria, or out north of town by the Intercontinental Airport. Downtown, you'll have to go after a legitimate 'Legal Secretary' or something similar! Although there's two colleges here, so there's a significant 21 -25 y.o. crowd......
Thanks for the advice mate. Appreciate it. Basically, we've been working EXTREMELY hard for the last 18 months. We love the USA, we love the south especially and we want just to party for six nights. We're there in the first week of December and all FOUR of us are single!!!! So we want to go out and party; bars, clubs, table service, chicks, alcohol! Googled the blue label lounge and THAT's what we're talking about!! We want lots of that! Went to Dallas a few years ago and didn't want to come back!
First week will be great, big Ferrari Party 12/04.....and the Yoga Center across the street has some FLEXIBLE ladies!! Come on, man....I got the map!!
Look at "Cullens" on the South Side, down by Clear Lake and NASA... All those astronauts in the 70's married well, tons of class young ladies there! There's a few places, I'll start a list......we'll go High Class, and Low.......
Thanks again dude. One thing we need to know thats vital is what area we should be book our hotel in? What do you recommend? Downtown or near the Galleria? If we stay near the Galleria will we always be taking long cab journeys just to get to where the action is? Or would you say for a "partying" holiday it is better to stay in the downtown area? Theres a hotel there called the Magnolia thats been recommended to me, do you know it? What do you think?
The Magnolia is very cool...one of the older ones downtown but totally refurbed and very classy... Not a bad chioce at all. Hard Rock Cafe and other clubs (Sambuca, Red Cat Jazz Cafe, Dean's Credit Clothing) are within walking distance, then you'll have to saddle up and taxi around to get to Mid Town...Washington Avenue, or the Galleria (aka Uptown).. Check out Hotel ZaZa, too.....lots of national sports stars hang out there, and it has a swank swimming pool terrace!! I think I should be working for the Mayor at City Hall, in 'Tourism'! LOL!
Houston really has no "central entertainment District" so we'll have to plan a route.. Sullivan's Steakhouse, if we want to bag a Cougar! My Russian gf likes it there....I tell them she's my bodyguard, and they leave us alone....
What was the problem with Dallas? Meh, nevermind you might have hit those tourist trap night club & bars. If you guys really want to live it up, head to Austin. If you haven't been there before it's very well worth it, you can do a lot there on a budget. Besides UT has some of the most beautiful girls in the state of Texas.
Sorry, i didnt make myself clear in my post- I meant I didnt want to come back HOME! I enjoyed Dallas so much Haha! I guess if we get bored we can always take a flight out to Austin for a day or two! BigTex-thanks for the suggestions- I think the Magnolia it is! I will certainly look you up when I am over there! I have to say I think Texas is a great place to holiday- most people in the UK tend to hit the usual destinations like NYC, LA or Miami, but I think in TX you get so much more in terms of hospitality- that Southern hospitality thing isnt just a myth and the weathers pretty decent too! Well, the less touristy it becomes the better for us! Thanks again.

True, I hang out at the Porch Swing Pub after seeing the Art Car Museum...there's lots of new trendy spots too.. So far I see: Wednesday: Mike Stinson at the Under the Volcano Club Thursday: Friday: Dale Watson at Blanco's Bar and Grill Saturday: Tour at Saint Arnold's Brewery (?????) Sunday: Ferrari Festival at Highland Village/Valobra's What else? I'll know more, when the local newspaper drops Thursday night......
Id like to put another vote in for Austin. I have been here for 3 years, you cant beat this place if you want hot Southern chics. Dont get me wrong I love my Houston(I was born and raised there), but if the goal is to party the only way to do it right is to come to Austin. If partying, chics, alcohol, and good bars/clubs is your only goal I am not sure why you are bothering with Houston, especially in the winter time. Stay right downtown at the Driskill. Every night, and especially on fri/sat night you will walk into a sea of beautiful women right as you leave the front doors of the Hotel. What dates are yall going to be here? There is a good chance UT will win the College Football Championships this year and the town will go crazy with partying.
