This is a thread to post our *rumors* and leaks about upcoming Hollywood movies. After having dinner with friends...

Pirates of the Carribean 2+3, Keith Richards to have cameo os Jack Sparrow's dad? Sparrow dies at the end in #2? (We all saw the interview where Depp says he modeled his "Jack Sparrow" after Keith, but a cameo?) Shooting schedule to take over a year, they are filming both at the same time...

Miami Vice: Vince Vaughn + Collin Farrel (sp?)

    Ch!ps????

This thread is just stuff insider like teasing me with when they want to know what I am doing, which at this point is nothing...

I know there's threads about it, but...

Next Bond movie = Casino Royale ?! Excellent... Brosnan wanted something like $40 million, needless to say he's not coming back. Clive Owen seems to be the favorite.

That would make more sense since the original Crockett and Tubbs were white and black.

This is where the old lady goes on a plane flight back home, crashes on a deserted island, ties in with the television show Lost, and finds Jack's body, surrounded by 17 mistresses, right?

No, I think its going to go something like he didnt actually die, he swims to a deserted island and sits there for 20 years and Amielia Earhart crashes on the island, then they fall in love. I am just trying to figure out how the boat ties in.

I think I need to be a Hollywood Writer.

If anyone wants to invest in this, I will be happy to start filming it.

Is it true that Keanu Reaves and Josh Hartnett can both actually act? My buddy works for Cameron Crowe--I'll see if he's got anything good.

What the hell is it with revamped 70's & 80's TV shows to movies??? Doesn't anyone have original ideas anymore?

    What the hell is next?

    Hardcastle and McCormick
    The Six Million Dollar Man
    The Fall Guy
    The A Team
    T. J. Hooker
    MacGyver

Come on Hollywood, you can do better than that.

Will, the A-Team was actually a pitch. Hollywood noticed how remakes do well from certain eras and wager on them.

Gilles27 - actually, I wonder about Kevin Kostner. At least Keaneu doesn't try to act and doesn't fail at not trying. Kevin on the other hand... I'll quote Chris Griffin from Family Guy by saying, "I haven't been this confused since No Way Out [switches over to Chris walking out of the theater] I don't get it... how does Kostner keep getting work?!"

My guess is he pays his own wage. Check the credits on some of these movies under "excecutive producers".

Jon Claude Van Dam has been financing his own for 10 years. Same with Steven Segal.
