An old high school friend of mine is working on a low budget sitcom. It's hilarious! She plays "Doug" on the 2nd episode. Check it out and tell me what you think about the first two episodes!

Was impatient & only watched ep 2, but here's my take:

Production value isn't half bad - very watchable.

Doesn't flow as smoothly as it could, but without too many episodes under their belt they have still managed to bring the characters out pretty well.

On the big plus side: it did garner a few laughs ("Doug" pitching a tent was really well done!).

All in all evaluation - shows some promise, keep going!

I thought it was funny, i watched the first episode only, but the seen in the meat shop was pretty funny. I agree with David_S, it could "flow" smoother than it did, but a good show overall. I laughed pretty good at some of those scenes.

Hahha, watched both eppisodes, I like it a lot.

Editing could be stronger (the production needs to shoot more takes & coverage, and editors need to pick out the best that flow.) that would be my only criticizism.

The writing is good, feels a bit like Friends and a bit like Sienfield, while emulating neither. The Allison character: "Bacteriall Vaginosis" "You think I'm a dirty whore!" And when she's all indignant then grabs her crotch, hilarious! Nobody makes these jokes yet.

"Doug" character is absolutely great. Pitching the tent, "Wow, Doug, is that you? You're hot!" classic stuff. I hope it gets picked up by a major network.

Infact, there has to be an F-chatter who is able to connect these dots.

It's pretty good, but the language would need to clean up for it to hit a major network.

Directing is Ham Fisted. Writing is sophomoric. Actors are unmemorable and their acting is average at best. I wouldn't put any of this on air. Editing lacks pace and consistancy. Language would be fine for cable but, cable content these days (HBO, FX, etc...) are seeing much better writing than this.

The delivery of the lines is poor but it's a funny show.
