I want to make the cockpit of a Ferrari 312 T4, not the whole car. I don't know when I'll be able to get to it, my current racing setup is seven years old, and losing some of its precision, also many o the programs I play are better suited for more than 270 degrees of rotation. If I'm getting a new wheel, I'd like to go all out.

now thats passion, and really cool. I wonder how cost effective it is to build your own as opposed to buying one. I would have to believe that either way it was really expensive.

I would just about guess that to get anything going that is halfway realistic and satisfying, you would be spending as much as a starter real ultralight or experimental plane.

Of course, you would be skipping the bust-your-tail possibilities, too.
