Homestead Miami Grand Prix photos

Nice pics! It was a great race all around. Congrats to the SpeedSource team on their win! Another local team, my friends with the Starworks Motorsport BMW Riley Sponsored by Xtreme Indoor Karting fought hard for their 5th place finish. Ryan Dalziel did an awesome job keeping pace with Buddy Rice early on, catching him several times until they were 4 wide down the front stretch with some lap traffic and he lost a little ground. Eventually he got the spot though and I believe they recorded the 2nd fastest lap of the race as well!!

My 7 month old daughter had a blast out there too! The "racer chick" blanket is compliments of Peter and Sandi Macmillan (PeterMac)...

The classic car show outside was nice. Some really cool cars.

 

Nice pics Kevin. I'm surprised we didn't bump into each other. That fuel guy was a cool character to shoot. I'll try and add some shots to this thread once I get them up. Unfortunately most of mine are shots of McDreamey for my wife!

I never can get her to go to the track but had no problem this weekend. Gee, I wonder why?

Saw the 'buzz duz' guy on the highway, but could not figure out his plate..

 

looks like a fun time....I'm going to the VIR race next month and I hope it's as good as I think it will be. Me and the lady are spending the weekend near/around the track, I hope to get a few nice shots with the point and shoot!
