Well, Honda really blew it by getting rid of Geoff Willis, this has been a disaster. Whats funny is the Toyota doesn't seem to bad in qualifying, although, i thought they would hurt with the removal of Mike Gascoyne. The Japanese are not learning the lesson it took Ferrari so long to learn, "Continuity".
Japanese are good engineers, but can't run a F1 team. Honda and Toyota teams are run like corporations, not as F1 teams. Both companies should have kept their roles to built and supply engines (like Honda did so brillantly in the past), and not get involved in building the whole car and running the teams.

All true, plus the fact that management sits in Tokyo and the factory in Cologne doesn't help. Way too far away. Barnard building the car in England and Ferrari the engine in Maranello didn't work either.
I hope Brawn goes there. Competition is the soul of F1 and it sucks to see a big team like Honda faltering. Also, I bet Brawn would enjoy the challenge. You only go around once, and if he is interested in taking that shot, more power to him. We should all be so lucky to have a choice of jobs after being heavily recruited by Honda and Ferrari to head up parts of their F1 teams.

ah yes, but the difference is that Emerson knew he would never win another F1 race if he joined Copersucar and was getting paid loadsa money. He went in with his eyes open and decided the trade-off was worth it...
Lots of boneheaded moves in F1: Alesi to Ferrari, Prost to start his own team. And not necessarily boneheaded, but tragic anyway: Senna to Williams. Hindsight is 20/20.
To think that Alesi would probably have won a WDC instead of Damon, and maybe he could have taken one from Michael in 94-95, what an opportunity lost. Anyways I agreed with whoever supported the idea of Brawn moving. I want more competitive cars.
It would be a bad move. They'd just fire him after a season or two like they fired Richards and Willis. Honda seem to try their best at getting rid of good people.
I think you might be right, but I think Brawn is a different sort than the two above, Richards=Business (EGO) and Willis (Chassis). I think that Brawn has the perfect F1 Brain, not only for being in it so long, but by adapting to the new Technologies and putting people in the right position.
I can see it now. Todt remains Ferrari's team boss, so Brawn decides to go to Honda for 2008 and beings Schumi with him Rubens, "Doh!"
