You can never have cost caps in F1 unlimited spending is one on the main
ingredients that make the sport sexy and so far above all other motorsports - IMO

What would be good for Ferrari is if they get their own act together
Cannot rely on the rest of the field to fail in order to succeed oneself

Other than the odds being against any first year effort do you have anything in particular in mind?

Honda doesn't even need to be a big disappointment. Even if their engine is on par with Mercs mclaren will take care of that for them; **** chassis and aero and everything else. Mclaren will make honda look like a disappointment

For at least the first part of 2015 I agree. I suspect we will see Mclaren take a step in the right direction next season but we won't see it until starting around the second half of the season, and then a bigger step the season after. They are rebuilding quite a bit and you can believe Ron has a plan. The have Prodromou running the aero dept and it's my understanding he is beefing things up a bit there even further. That said, I hear Mercedes have some really clever ideas already in store for W06!

    Do you reckon?

Would be awesome to see how Bottas stacks up then ;).

It's *NOT* from my source btw, just a rumour in the paddock. Albeit a pretty reasonable rumour that can hold a fair bit of weight.
