    Details:

    This is a two-owner from new, 33,060-mile 2008 Honda S2000 CR finished in Apex Blue Pearl (B-554P).

    This car was sold new at Fisher Honda in Boulder, CO, and lived in Colorado until we acquired it this month. The second owner who we purchased from owned the car from 3,860 miles onwards. It is 100% unmodified and has never been modified, down to the original radio.

    Zero accidents. All VIN tags in place. 100% clean Carfax. 100% clean, free & clear title.

    Location: Costa Mesa, CA.

    Flaws:

    Exterior: A couple minor scratches on each front fender from small stones on the highway, & a small paint nick or two at the rear (wing & bumper). Nothing major. The driver’s rear wheel has very slight curbing.

    We were unhappy with the amount of stone-chipping on the front bumper & lip, so we had it professionally refinished by S2000/high-end specialists Signature Autobody in Orange, CA. Please note we painstakingly ensured the paint used is 100% imperceptible from OEM finish and a perfect match (the included photos represent it accurately), and the bumper’s VIN tag was retained. All other paint on the car is 100% original.

    Interior: Almost flawless. Driver’s seat shows very, very slight wear, passenger seat nearly-new. The hardtop latches are somewhat noisy, a common S2000 OEM hardtop issue that can be solved with adjustment & lubrication. Car comes with one set of keys only.

    Underbody: This S2000 was only driven in the summer months, and it shows; the underbody is like-new and shows very little sign of wear or use.

    Maintenance Information:

    This CR had regular oil & filter servicing according to Honda’s schedule. An alignment was performed at approximately 25,000 miles. It has a brand-new Genuine Honda battery. The car drives flawlessly and as an S2000 should (we have over 65,000 miles logged in our personal ’09).

    The Bridgestone RE070 tires have very low tread all-around (fronts are original, rears have been replaced once), and need replacement.

    Car comes with the following:

    All original owner's manuals & ancillaries.
    Original tire inflation tool kit.
    Original tonneau painted corner pieces.
    Honda Apex Blue Pearl B-554P touch-up paint.
    OEM Honda S2000 CR car cover.

    Most end up highly tuned, my sons is supercharged and the engine bay anodized in purple!

    Its noteworthy to me that AJ Foyt among the cars in his Shop Lobby has a zero miles S2000, from his days with Honda

    Very nice ABP CR, unmolested examples are indeed rare and highly desirable. The CR's lead engineer was a man named Shigeru Uehara, who was also involved with the original NSX so it has some outstanding lineage.
    For those that may not know, the aluminum hardtop is removable for top down driving. The CR (Club Racer) is a very balanced automobile and yet offers a very visceral experience.

    I own a 50K mile, model year 2000 AP1. Awesome car - brings a smile to my face everytime I take it out. Would love to test out the CR some day to see how different it is. Good luck with sale.

    Yes and no, does not it bolt onto brackets in the rear??

    It's a little more trouble than pulling the lid from a Mercedes SL, in my mind.

    Maybe a seasonal change in the S2000.
    One of the first things I bought for my lad, as I feel it was worth the added safety, for track use, especially.

    The hardtop has two handles which loosen the rear of the top with the simple turn of the handles. The top, while it isn't heavy, is more than one individual can safely remove.
