    Looking for some help on the electronic hood release. The trunk and fuel door work fine as supposed to with car off but in pressing the hood release button nothing happens. And I don’t believe I hear anything. Just wondering where to start chasing this down and what to try and in what order. Thanks for ideas.

    Try swapping switches that are known to work. Check the hood solenoid. They sometimes will stick. Check the current to the solenoid when the switch button gets pushed. In an emergency there is a cable release under the dash. Forget if there is 1 or 2 release cables but under the dash at either end.

    Thanks Norbert. Yes 2 cables. Hood is open now. Do you know if any tricks to getting the switches out? Also do you own a 400? I see you are in MB. I’m in the area often.
