Good one! That makes sense. :)
What did he say? He said "I know so much that could put Tony away". He didn't tell him anything, just said he knew things. Besides, I found it unrealistic and unimaginative. The next episode, Chris and Tony will probably be good friends again and next it will be Sil that will be brawling with Tony - why not, they changed directions so many times lately, what does it matter!
Well he didn't go into detail, but he said too much for sure. He admitted to thinking about flipping. That's enough to get you concrete boots in any mob or gang. Not even counting the rest of the crap he was spewing out of his mouth. He also discussed certain events, thought not in detail, he said enough to get himself in trouble for sure.
I never followed the show but also I don't have HBO, I'm not even sure what the Hell the fuss is about but I've been fine not seeing it anyway. I'm sure I'll see it on DVD sometime & the I'll give you an opinion.
Every season but the one currently showing is on DVD already Seasons 1-6 (6 part 1, we're watching part 2 of the season)
Hmmm....last night's episode was interesting. The Vegas stripper girl Tony was with was SMOKIN HOT. Also, I cannot believe how hot Julianna Marguiles looks these days. Tony Soprano is definitely a murdering psychopath. He deserves whatever happens to him IMO. RMX
There is definitely NOT going to be a "happily ever after" ending to the series. Tony will end up either in a pool of blood or "up the river". I just hope that smug bastard Phil gets it first.
I like Phil way more than I ever did Johnny Sacramoni. He looks a lot like my (now deceased) grandfather. RMX
THAT'S A MAN, BABY! 2nd pic she looks horrible. But the stripper chick with Tony in Vegas was HOTTTTT!
It appears Tony is no longer conflicted as to which direction he is taking, the evil persona has won out. Did anyone notice that last week Tony was humming Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" as he came down the stairs and this week, Christoper was playing the same song right before the car crash. Seems to me Tony is resigned to his destiny, he is comfortably numb. Also one couldn't miss the paralells between Tony's crash with Adrianna (car flipping over, late night ride, coked up driver, even in Denville, the same town!) Makes me wonder whether Christopher was actually trying to kill Tony, himself or both of them. Worth noting- the bicycle scene where the black guy gets attacked is very similar to a scene in Bronx Tale. don't know why David Chase paralleled that. AJ's talk with his shrink about it though foreshadows Tony's own mixed emotions between tenderness and abject violence. Could AJ be headed down the same path as his father, history repeating itself?
Interesting about the car ride Ben, didn't think about that, but your right. The Floyd song I caught onto instantly, and figured it meant someone was going to die soon, sure enough. What else is interesting is the return of Julianna. I think she's a Fed, and now that she's back, I could be right Also, what about the "trip" Tony had. He said "I get it". Anyone know what he means? I know he means he gets the meaning of life, but what is the great enlightenment, what exactly did he figure out? I missed something there. Gotta watch it again. That's, to me, what the entire series is about. It's also interesting that David chooses one of the last episodes to send Tony on a chemically induced trip... He did take the Evil path, and will pay for his wrong doings.
I thought Tony said victoriously " I DID it", it reminded me of the end of Rocky 1 when he says "Yo Adrian, ...I did it". Then I thought, mmm..Adrian...Adriana. Maybe evil Tony was telling Adrianna his annihilation of Christoper was complete, he not only killed him, shattered his family, but even went back and banged his old girlfriend for good measure. LOL. (Then again, maybe I had too much peyote myself and over-analyzed the entire thing.)
Vegas chick was DEFINATELY smoking. She was the most talk of the entire episode. I think over this season its come out that no one wants to be boss. Basically means headaches and youre going to die young or die young in jail. Phil doesnt want it, Tony doesnt want it, but now they're stuck with it. Phil is a great character. Always like Frank Vincent (Billy Batts and Pesci's boy in Casino). Hes definately a mean ass character. He hates Tony. Remember Tony ran him off the road and beat the **** out of him over money a few seasons ago, and of course Tony B whacked his brother and Tony killed him before Phil could. Sure, Phil took Vito in return, but Phil and Tony still hate each other. Killing Vito didnt make up for Tony S killing Tony B. Interesting to see who gets it first. I think one of them will. Oh yeah, and Little Carmine--He dont wanna be boss either. He knows its a shorter life of misery. That pisses Tony S off cause they get along great. We found out last year (or two years--who knows they have us wait so damn long) that Sil doesnt want the spot. Paulie wouldnt make a good boss. Paulie is a nut job. You dont hear enough from Patsi. Chris's dead. Who knows. Perhaps Bobbi B will be the next boss and groom AJ to take his spot. What else is AJ going to do? Hes always loved the respect and self-empowerment his last name gives him.
I gotta watch it again, but I think he said "I get it". He was looking into the light (sun). Remember the spotlight from the Finnerty episodes? Carmella saw one while in Paris also.
Very good calls, it was also an escalade in both crashes with the exception of the first being white this one was black. I definitely believe that the reason AJ has taken a bigger spotlight to show that history is, in fact, repeating itself. I am not so sure that he is strong enough to take over or go into the 'family business'
So what do we get tonight???? 4 minutes of crime drama ( what I tuned in for) 45 minutes of depression and hospital B.S. (I guess the writers wish they were working on a medical show?)
Hopefully it will redeem itself towards the end. I was literally laughing at the whole AJ pool thing, I was hoping to hell he would snuff it. I just hate his character and his acting is atrocious. To be rid of him for a few episodes would be bliss The show was just drawn out too much. They could have probably eliminated 50% of the last 2-3 seasons and the show would have been way better. Maybe we'll get lucky and AJ will choke on a pickle next week.
agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it seems like its getting worse and worse. how the hell will they end the show with just 2 shows left ?? im feeling its gonna be a crap ending, a total let down ....dont forget ------- next week is a bi week.......maybe i ll stick a screw driver in my eye next week, just to fill in the gap.
I was literally yelling at the TV when AJ was about to kill himself. I knew he wouldn't go through with it so I was asking my wife why the keep wasting our time.
