Hooters (Laurel, MD) Monaco race viewing??????

Hey guys-

You're weekend schedules are probably already packed with BBQ's etc, but...

Is anyone interested in joining me and a few other chimps to watch the race on CBS at Hooters in Laurel (right off Route #1 across from the mall)? Sunday noonish?

The manager there has been dying to get us (and our cars) there, but I keep blowing it off.

Parking is great, right by the window. I did a recon run and the restaurant is great, good artery hardning food, and ...oh yeah... the servers are a hot, friendly, diverse group. Shawn the manager promised to turn the music off and put the race audio on the speakers, so should be a great location for us.

I just wanted to make sure we had some turnout, since it's short notice on a holiday weekend

What say you guys?

Who's interested?

Who's will bring their exotic (Ferraris, porsches, Original Shelby's yes, stationwagons no)?

I'm interested. The only way I can watch the race in Baltimore is with rabbit ears on the TV! Sort of like Monaco during a winter snowstorm...

funny story- a friend of mine hangs out with some saudi royal family members. they went into a small cafe in france. the hostess was typically rude and would not seat them because they were busy. they went next door. the next day the prince bought the cafe, fired the hostess and gave it to his french friend that was with them. I know this is an urban legend, but this time it really happened. he just told me this story a couple of days ago so it was still on my mind.

 

That still happens to this day. When DK runs out of gas, he just buys a new car and puts the old one up on ebay.

Damn, is it weird that I'm fantasizing about your Challenger? Interested in swapping drives??

BTW.... wetpet that T/A is schweet..... I raced a plum crazy cuda with a 340 six pack once in my 69 GTO.... very quick! ahhh good times.... kinda wish I still had my GTO..
