    Saturday, May 10th.

    Meet at Rick Champagne's office (Lambo owner) at 9:30 AM
    7350 S. Kyrene Rd., Suite 108 in Tempe, AZ.
    (Just a little north of Elliot Rd., on Kyrene).
    Rick has graciously invited us for a little pre-drive gathering at his office
    for coffee, etc.

    We will head down to the Hooters in Marana (Just north of Tucson) from
    Rick's at around 10:15 to 10:30 AM.
    Hooters-Marana is at 4285 W. Ina Rd., which is just east of I-10 on Ina Rd.,
    a few miles north of Tucson. We will be taking I-10 straight down to the location.

    Hope to get a lot of cars to go!

    I'd hate to spoil a party, but have you guys checked out I-10 lately from Picacho to Tucson????? It's a nightmare of construction...not someplace I'd recommend for traffic or paint jobs. Lots of semi's, and idiots driving bumper to bumper, all trying to gain 2 spots on the guys ahead with no place to go...

    Thanks for the info. We may rethink our drive location. I will keep everyone updated.

    UPDATE: WE MAY CHANGE THE VENUE TO THE HOOTERS IN AHWATUKEE, AT 48TH STREET & CHANDLER BLVD.
    I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED.

    "The back way" is a bit longer, but more interesting. You can hop off I-10 at 587 or 387 and jog over to take 79 down to Ina and avoid the construction. It not a cruise like I-10 used to be, but I find the passing entertaining - good reason to down shift and hear the roar.
