    Ok its time to set up another meet and then a poker run. I think the next official meet should be on sunday September 6th. This gives everyone plenty time to plan and be ready to show up and have a great time. Hopfully the weather holds up and we can do a little run again. Just like last time meet up at hooters between 10:30 and 11:00, hang out for a few hours and then go for a spirted drive with locations to be determinded later.

    Now onto a more organized and fun event that i have in the works. Me and my business partner have come up with an idea to host a poker run with the help of hooters. I think the date should be the off week for the saints, which is october 11th. I still need to finalize everything with our promotions department, but it should be no problem at all since it has been in the works for our bike night participants.

    If anyone has any info they need to suggestions for anything let me know. Also let me know how these dates work for everyone. We can start doing a weekly meet if yall would like, but i would have to be garunteed 15 cars every sunday to block off the front of the resturant. If its gets bigger than that then i can block off more as needed.

    RECAP:::
    September, 6th - - Meet
    October, 11th - - Poker Run

    I can't make it. Still working on getting my other 4 cylinders to fire. It's amazing how poorly a Mondial runs on 4 cylinders!
    Have fun!

    Where all is the run too? Not much fun to drive around in stop & go traffic.

    The run starts on the west bank store and ends in metairie. it will go through the baton rouge stores and denham springs, but not really saying the order of which we are goin, but it wont be to hard to figure out, and with it being on a sunday i dont see too much traffic on the interstate.

    Wait....so if we're in Baton Rouge, we've got to drive to the Westbank, back to BR/Denham, back to Metairie, and then back to Baton Rouge at the end of the day?

    Ummm, isn't driving the the reason you would go on a car run? You could just sit at the BR location to see the cars if thats what you are into?

    ok this is the rough schedule for sunday

    I want to start everything at the West Bank store, having the sign up start at 11am and everyone leaving around 12, heading to Denham spring. I would expect it to take a little over an hour to get there so I figure we get there between 1 and 1:30. We would hang out there for about an hour then head to college drive. I am not sure how long of a drive that is but let’s say arrival is at 3. then the same thing hang out there for about an hour and then head to siegen lane that drive should be no more than 15 minutes. So arrival should be about 4:15 or 4:30. Again we will stay at sigen for about an hour so leave there at 5:30, and get to Metairie for about 6:30. Each store we go to everyone will get 1 playing card. After the 5 stores you will have 5 cards and the person with the best poker hand wins a prize that has yet to be determined. It will probly be a wing party for 10 people but i need to ok that with my promotions person.
