    But I'm excited at the moment. On my wall is (purportedly) an actual piece of the original 1903 Wright Flyer. Apparently the flyer was damaged early on, stored, caught in a flood in 1913, then stripped and restored. In the process the original muslin was preserved. Chunks of the fabric were apparently passed around 20s and 30s.

    Provenance: Wright family -> Col. George Jarrett -> Robert (Bob) Boehme -> Boehme estate -> Ron Cole Artwork -> me.

    It's tiny (the whole display is 8.5 x 11), but it's cool to think that there's a link to Kitty Hawk.

    Genuine, almost certainly. Unlike many pieces of von Richthofen's Dr.I fabric widely seen for sale.
