A noob question. Having a great distaste for the location of my horn button, does the cover shot of the steering wheel indicate a new location for the horn? And second question, could this be retrofitted?

The 812 has its horn in the same location as shown in the Prancing Horse cover.

Another noob question. Where is the wiper control? Wondering if this wheel could be retrofitted to a 488?

The interior shot on the cover of the current Prancing Horse is of a Monza SP1. Take a look at the Monza SP1 on the Ferrari website. It does not appear to have wipers.

The Portofino has its horns at the new location as depicted in the prancing horse front cover.

I think the GTC4 Lusso also has the new steering wheel/ horn location.

Sorry for the stupid question, but is there a trick to reliable engage the horn buttons? Seems like I’m always missing the mark

First: as gentlemen driver, you need hardly nee to use the horn imo

Secondly: look before you start at the wheel; believe me, after some trips you recognise te place of the buttons :)

    Good luck ...

Monza has no windshield so no wiper. The latest design steering wheel I think has the wiper control in the same place as prior but with a small wheel to set wiper speed.

For the wheel you are using, I place my hands just above the cross bar and thumbs will fall directly over the horn control part of the leather wheel. Takes some getting used to but after a while you'll get it. Hard part is if you don't drive it often and are switching between vehicles. Also not really possible to reliably activate horn when wheel is turning. Its quirky but that's Ferrari.
