The wire from my horn button to inside the steering wheel housing has come loose. Through the hole in the wheel housing, I can see a fitting and am able to shove the wire back into it, but it is not secure. If I remove the surround from below the steering column, will I have access to that fitting to secure the wire? Anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

Have to take steering wheel off. There is a small metal tab with wire crimped to it and it is riveted to the main switch. Pulling to much on the wire can make it break off right next to rivet. Several ways to fix once wheel is out of the way.
