Anybody know if a Euro 1979 GTB carb would have had Fiamm twin trumpet horns or a snail type horn?

The car had a snail type and the Ferrari guys working on my car said that was not original and should be trumpet type.

    Many thanks

Your year/version/model SPC shows that either is possible (and, since the US versions had the snail type horn in 1978, a later euro with it doesn't seem that unusual to me). Is the Mechanic saying that there's physical evidence of a change in the mounting area or just making a general configuration claim?

He's only said this model year had the twin horns, but I'll ask him if he's seen anything. He has replaced the old snail horn with some lovely red OEM Ferrari ones. I've told him to keep the old one.
    Thanks
