Wow! Sometimes rumors are more than rumors. I don't think a team Principal has ever won more titles at one team (or even multiple teams) than Horner at RB. Like at Ferrari, no guarantee his replacement will have better results...
Its kind of surprising but not really. when Dieter M died, the company split into two distinct camps. The Thai side with the Yavhoodia family and the Mateschitz ( sp?) side all scrambling for control. Dieter trusted Horner and let him rule the roost. Mateschitz son wanted to run things but the Thai side said no -and stuck behind Horner.... until the allegations popped up last year about female staffer and abuse etc... the Thai side started to crack. Internally Jos Verstappen formed a coalition with Marko, against Horner. The wheels really started to fall off with the Thai side when Newey left... that was a huge credibility blow. Not sure what to believe or expect? I would think Ferrari will be knocking today .... or maybe Alpine.
It has been proven with several drivers in the second car, over several years, that if your name is not Max Verstappen, the Red Bull is undriveable.
