Did you check the fuse and relay?

The fuse also powers the secondary air pump (if fitted). Any check engine lights?

I've been told by one 550 owner, that the earth wire for the horn is on the battery. Have you changed your battery recently?

The hose might have dried out. It is a friction fit. I had this happen to my car. I applied a little gasket sealant to the union, problem solved.
