I'll nominate the first one. Watched part of it last night. Forgot how incredibly bad, yet entertaining it is at the same time. Howling II Take a lame T&A movie, add in the worst dialogue and acting in the history of mankind. Makeup and special effects from a middle school play. Throw in a fairly distiguished actor (Christopher Lee) to add credibility, then have him in the most ridiculous situations, such as wearing wrap-around sunglasses at a punk-rock concert. The guy is 60 years old?!? Actually there are other shots of Lee that are hilarious, one in particular the young couple is driving the Transylvania with Lee in the back seat. The look of complete disgust at his surroundings is priceless. I was howling alright, but not in fright... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Anyone seen "The Toxic Avenger". God was it bad - like watching a bad train wreck of a not even a 'B' movie, more like a 'C' or 'D' movie, but weirdly entertaining at the same time.
From Beyond (1986). The first movie that I watched on my VCR. A co-worker taped it off cable. Bizarre movie about a mad scientist who builds a force field generator that allows humans to interact with strange creatures that inhabit the other dimensions. And of course, the creatures have big teeth.
Wolfen; Re-Animator (from the people that later brought you 'From Beyond,' both based on HG Lovecraft writings); Xtro- about a boy who claims his dad was kidnapped by aliens, and they didn't believe him until dad returns- the rebirth scene and the GI joe scene are classics; Basket Case; I spit on your grave (actually a pretty intense little movie); Last HOuse on the Left (ditto); Mars Attacks (tim Burton at his silliest); From Dawn until Dusk (a bank robbery movie until the creatures show up);Remake of Dawn of the Dead (great action movie, even if you know the 'story'); The hidden ( a 'B' classic with a Ferrari theme and aliens); Rancho Notorious- Fritz Lang Freudian western starring Marlene Dietrich; Touch of Evil- classic Welles trash, south of the border;DOA (the original, with Edmund O'brien)- man reports his own murder- high watermark film noir with scenes from the Bradbury Building;oh, i could go on, but you get the point...

I remember seeing The Soldier, not in the theatre, but on VHS renta-tape. I loved the scene where he gets bazook'ad out of the ski gondola, and if memory serves, lands on his skis to engage in a downhill uzi gun battle. They don't make 'em like they used to.
nah, I don't think Vin Diesel was even alive, let alone thinking about sucking his first, oops, when that movie was made.
I think 'The Soldier' had that big blond guy who played the Russian boxer in one of the Rocky movies. Can't remember his name at the moment...
Has anyone seen John Astin in EVIL ROY SLADE? Evil falls off of a covered wagon out west as a child. Raised by coyotes turns into a bandit running a gang of midgets riding Shetland Ponies (who finally turn on him). Finally gets a job back east as a womens shoe salesman! Hilarious!
