Found a coolant leak under the intake manifold coming from the small hose off the coolant reservoir. The hose is cracked badly and is probably original. Short of tearing down the intake which will be time consuming what are the chances of replacing the hose attacking from behind the oil filter? A 1/4" extension can get at the clamp though feeding it through may or may not be easy.

I replaced that hose on my old 348 without removing the manifold, but it was a tight spot for sure. Very common problem. Looks like that was in 1995 on mine.

Thats pretty much what it looks like sort of mushroomed. I'll follow the my348 temp sensors replacement which covers removing oil pressure and other stuff in the way for access. Need to do coolant flush and trans fluid change in that area anyway.

Just finished up the hose repair and bleeding the system. This small part broke off somewhere near the right rear of the airbox. What is it and does it serve any purpose?
