I have not. I've done multiple, multi-hour highway drives with no issues reported... luckily I guess.

Did you do something to your exhaust? Did it go into limp mode?

    Update…

Yes William I have the Novitec Race exhaust and the Tectronic module. I’ve found if I don’t follow an exact start up procedure the gremlins creep up.

On this trip my wife’s door was open when I started the car. An hour later I get the message. I let it sit for 30 min then drove another 2 hours without any error messages. I spoke with my SA at FoA and it could be a number of items but I chalk it up to the gremlins associated with changing the exhaust. Most of my out and backs are one hour and I’ve never seen it before. Only other oddity is I gassed up at a Circle K vs my normal Shell station. 93 may not be 93.

Sorry for the panic post but I think all is good now. We’ll see on the way home Sunday. We’re up at a FCA event in Little Switzerland, NC. 38 F cars!

Hope it all works out. I’m tempted to do something with my exhaust, but will leave it stock for the time being.

I’ve seen that message on the 458 a number of times, oddly enough the code consistently reads as low pressure on the right fuel rail. Someday I’ll hunt it down.

Enjoy little Switzerland! I kinda knew about it, but no way I could’ve made it this year (I did some of the BRP near Asheville coming back from Pocono in June, but it was a rush job).

If you see Paul in his white Ford GT, please send him my best regards. Met him at FCA VIR a few months back, guy ‘s a hoot!

I get the message when really driving the Speciale hard... But since I don't have that part, I just ignore the message. Never seen it just cruising.

I have got that message too with stock exhaust.

Mine was on a very cold morning where the car was left outside. I started it and as I pulled away without letting it warm up correctly it dumped a bit of unburnt fuel into the catalytic I guess which gave a pop and the error came up.

Never happened again and I put it down to the sudden temp increase from the unburnt fuel making it’s way in.

I don’t know the production date of your car but this happens on the newer models with updated ECU software. If you change the stock exhaust with even just the rear muffler from novitec you will get the catalyst warning errors and likely even CEL.

Build date was Nov 2021. It was my first error of this type and haven’t seen it since. After this occurred I pulled the Tectronic module, cleared the codes and had zero errors on the mountain drives during the rally, as well as the 3 hr drive home and an hour drive today. I’m definitely happy with the exhaust note so I’m putting up with the occasional CEL gremlins which I chalk up to rushing the start up sequence.

The start up sequence from what I was told makes no difference as the system is constantly being checked. You likely have the older ECU software but the 2022 production dates the techtronic plug-in doesn’t bypass the errors.

I also have this warning light whenever I rev it a bit harder than regular cruising. I have stock cats with the Novitec exhaust + tectronic module, and my car is a 2022 model. Never had CEL issue, but just the "Catalytic Converter Temperature High Slow Down" light coming on. Anyone have the proper solution to this?

As a side note, I haven’t seen the message since I originally posted this thread and I’ve driven fairly aggressively a few times. ;)

What adjustments did you make since you first had the light come on?

I was surprised that I didn't get the light on track. I only get it when driving aggressively on some back roads. I think it has something to do with not enough cooling between corners.
