They did do a good job micing the engine. I don't usually make it through the whole video (ADD I guess) but I did enjoy it. I was sad when he asked her to short shift it at 7k when almost certainly peaks just over 8k but I understand. I need to figure out how to do that better...she made the comment that its a visceral experience and I think anyone who's driven a 308 hard has felt that but it sure doesn't come through in the videos I make with the phone or gopro in the cabin..the sound just isn't close to right in my videos. She did a great job with that.

I didn't realize Jim Carpenter was still doing GTO conversions, and was a bit shocked to hear there are 70+ of just his conversions out in the world. My front valance and my bumpers are from him...valance for sure, I'm struggling to remember on the bumpers, but I'm remembering the valance took forever to get and he sent a front GTO turn signal as a sorry. Between the valance being light weight FG and my car sitting pretty low the poor thing is pretty beatup and wanting repair these days but I still really like the way it looks.

The other bit that caught my ear was the rear toe. It was nice to hear I'm not the only one who thought that was needed. The rear chamber spacers I spotted look very close to mine as well so I guess I'm well on my way to catching up to state of the art circa 1990 :)
