hahahahahahahaha
My brother, who knows of this thread, sent me a follow up email.... Next time, I'm going to try to alter the color a bit by using yellow peppers instead of red peppers. I'd also consider upping the amount of mustard. Don't forget; DO NOT ALTER THE AMOUNT OF WATER, UNDER PENALTY OF LAW!!! Probably better to go to the mattress store and wantonly remove a tag, or go to a movie theater and yell fire.
Say.... Habaneros and Scotch Bonnets are ~500k scoville units. Someone told me not long ago that they have developed a chili hotter than either one, true?
I've got Satan's Blood and Blair's 2a.m. reserve. Both are just stupid. The toothpick test is more than enough for these bad boys! Nothing to play with... _J
No, recently (official as of today) beaten out naga viper: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naga_Viper http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelookout/20101203/sc_yblog_thelookout/worlds-hottest-pepper-is-hot-enough-to-strip-paint
I don't think man was supposed to discover anything called "Naga Viper." Sounds like something that should be exercised using two priests. _J
"I feel the heat. It's like my soul is being lit by the devil!" "I think he just died..." "Yeah, that's a wrap." _J
Anyone like Daves insanity sauce.A little goes a long way. It's all I use, except when i make wing sauce for the family,Best part is letting my Daughters B-friends who have that chip on there shoulder turned to Charcoal HEHEHE! Amazing how they learn manners again.
Well, I eat habaneros raw, so I'd like to try the ghost and Naga. Maybe the Naga is a little much, but there's a curiosity there...
Pain is Good #114 is really good too. Not just hot, this one has flavor.... http://www.scorchio.co.uk/pain-good-batch-jamaican-sauce-p-32.html
"In the mouths of those who eat it, a strange voodoo begins to take hold, consuming the body, mind and soul in a fiery, hypnotic euphoria." I had an red-headed ex who said the same thing and never delivered.
I believe that if you eat at least hot sauce at least once a week it'll cut your chances of getting Cancer especially Colon Cancer.
I have a 2005 Reserve signed by Dave. It came in a casket with caution tape around it and a certificate from the company stating it's lot number in the series. When I make chili, I stir the tip of a toothpick in the Dave's then stir that into a single bowl. Almost too hot to eat. It is nuts. Each years reserve is hotter than the last. Toothpick into a burger patty does the trick too. Blairs is pretty hot, but the flavor doesn't suit me. Mad Dog Inferno, for it's time was damn hot stuff. I have a bottle of PureCap I keep in the freezer for when people pizz me off and say I can't make something hot enough for them. "here, try this picant on your chip."....don't normally see those people for a couple of months after that. There's a great little shop in Harvard Square that sells all things hot. Wonderful selection.
I have seen the Coffin case for daves.Thats the one that got me hooked.Once in a while my Family and I go to St Augustne, they have tons of hot sauce shops there.Thinking of that I need to go back there to restock,Anyone else want to go?
I learned respect for that one the hard way after liberally sprinkling a BBQ pork sandwich with it. Oh My! This one verges on too much heat too little taste for me. A little goes a long way, indeed.
