Well, I repacked the flywheel with grease as my brothers recommended, and the hot start problem is no more. GOne are the days of driving and worrying if the car is going to give me hassles in front of 20 curious onlookers. I will miss the sound of rattling rocks when I turn off the engine. Thanks again

I used a little over half of the tub of "Kluber" grease. (Somewhere between 250-280gs) That is what most people reccommend and what Daniel at Ricambi suggested. Hope that is helpful. P.S. It is a good idea to replace all the o-rings around the six bolts locking the flywheel together. (you need 12) No-one mentioned this anywhere I researched, but they are obviously not re-usable after you tear it apart! Scott

Thanks Scott for the reply. I asked out of interest because I have just done the same job on my 355. I ended up using 200g of grease, up from the Ferrari value of 150g.

Sure is great to see more, and more brothers turning their own wrenches.
