    Visiting NYC in late August. Looking for a reasonably priced nice hotel near Times Square. Basic King room. Traveling with others who are budget conscious. Anything decent for $250>$300 per night?

    W Hotel or Marriott. W is a great place, if you can get a deal on the room rate. And Blue Fin, the restaurant on the ground floor, is one of the best in the Times Square area (good food, fair prices, and not a tourist trap).
