Nice photos, Dale! That breakfast was a really nice time! Thanks for having me, Houston peeps! Dale, sorry I had to leave so soon, but I had to get over to my buddy's house to put the racing seats in my M3, and then pick up my wife. LONG day... Congrats on your Maser....VERY nice looking car!!!! By the way, thanks for that goofy photo. I am sure the Artful Tax Dodger will enjoy it. Thankfully, unlike him, I do not have man bewbs... Very nice pics. Wish I could see that many Ferraris on my street. BTW, nice choice of colors on those balloons.
I would bet that's the same one that was at TWS a few years back when the Ferrari Challenge was held there. The color was breathtaking as it seemed to change with the light. Very nice . . . Carol
The Daytona was sweeeeet ! As "always" the hospitality of the club and hosts were superb. Glenn is so nice and friendly. Hey I know it is old news. He tells my 11 year old son to go inside his car, and close the door and play with it. He is not going to hurt anything. WOW !! Nice classy folks. - They were a little upset that I crashed their fun run in my Hayabusa !! LOL.
I just want to know why you rode the Rice Rocket in the rally with a new 512BB sitting at the house...SIN SIN SIN!!! REPENT! Thanks for bringing it to the breakfast afterwards...man it looks awesome.
The BBi needs a major. (I knew this when I bought the car). The BBi is scheduled to begin the major on Monday. I also have a problem with one of the two front bonnet latches. I cannot completly lock the front bonnet. It would obviously flex even more, with the car taking turns at insane speeds. I also did not want to upstage Luigi too much. The women were gravitating towards the car.
Ahh...sage choice not to run it. I hope all goes well on the major. Again...D--- that thing looks superb. Even better then the one FoH had last year.
Mike and Ralph, you guys are in Houston. I just moved here last summer. Will you be at the F1 watching party that the local FCA club will be doing? Ralph, who is doing your major for you? My car is about to go in for service as well (or, I'm about to put it up in the air and take the wheels off in my garage and get to work on it! - but saying "it's in for service" sounds better, right?) Anyway, I've been meaning to meet up with the local FCA chaper. Dr. Who knows my brother-in-law and I also met Warren at a Christmas party at my BIL house. Ralph, you're in med supplies, you may know him. He's financing a start up for a phrmaceuticals company (his initails are GJ). Sean
Dear Mike: Thanks for the comments. Dear Sean: I should be at the F1 party on 5 March. The women at the party know more about the race than I do. You can always watch the women at the party; if you get board with the race. Ferda (Vintage Motorsports) is doing the major (on Monday). I wish I knew how to do the major myself. It would be fun to tear it apart. It is not a job for a novice. I see you are an engineer. That is nice. You would not have a problem with technical issues with your car. I am also an engineer. - A combat engineer in the reserves. They never taught us how to tear apart RE's. You should interact with the local FCA chapter. They are a very nice bunch of ladies and men. I do not know who GJ is.
Thanks for the contact info. Ralph. I'll try and contact Grady about the local FCA. Where do you live by the way. If you're car is in the shop I'd be happy to swing over in my 308 and pick you up. I'm up on the NW side of town but don't know where the F1 party is. What about you LSU?
Ralf, Saw your Boxer yesterday... Looks like the engin is ready to come off. Looks amaizing (almost a concours car) apart from the exhaust with the mounts and EPA canisters (whatever it is called) which looked rusted. A tubi or a original exhaust seems needed, IMO... My car will be running this week. Unfortunately, I won't be in town for the next 2-3 weeks, so will enjoy at the beginning of April You're in good hands, Ferda is the man for your job...
Adesalos: Thanks for the comments. Now I am just "waiting" for the F dealer to send along the original factory Euro exhaust ( BE market ) that came with the car from Modena. They (forgot) to send the exhaust when they shipped the car.
