Folks, here is a pic of the hour meter on a 2001 21' Searay.
the seller claims engine has 25,8 hours.
Is it 25,8 hours or 258 hours? the last digit has a darker background so I can't tell if it is measuring tenths of an hour or hours. Can anyone clarify this for me please? many thanks.

It's reading 25.8hrs or 2hrs/assuming it the original motor. FWIW, older hr meters like that one don't mean much. Very easy to disconnect as that vintage wouldn't have an ECU..

agreed. 25.8 hours on the meter which means nothing as to hours on the motor.

If original motor is seller truly claiming he has used the boat just over 24 hours in 15 years?

In the event that unique engine is vender really asserting he has utilized the boat a little more than 24 hours in 15 years?
