I am planning on attending as well if it is "on". No word yet on the facebook page.

 

I received an email from Safeer confirming I'd have a slot - so I guess we are on ....

 

The website says it is on for Aug 2nd.

 

Spoke too soon. Facebook page says it is off.

"Everyone, there will be NO event this weekend! We will bring Coffee and Cars back to its roots and we will continue to work hard to bring together the most amazing machines for children to admire. We need everyone to understand that this is not a track and this is not the place for fans to go see burnouts. We've seen quite a number of videos recently of events in other states hurting from this and we must do whatever it takes to make sure our gathering doesn't end because of the same. There is a possibility of the event going back to Houston but we will not have any final word until the next week or two. Thank you for all your support!"

Can we still go to supercars? Will they accept a 308?

 

See post #77 and #78. Regarding the 308 I think it best that I shake her down first as a precaution, just saying.

 

Not sure what event they were referencing. Cc or scs? I know cc is cancelled but I can't tell if scs is still on. I would like to attend scs but I think the spots are limited and the you tube I saw showed mostly late model big $ cars. There were a couple of 328s. I didn't see a carb in the bunch. I wouldn't want to be out of place.

 

Sounds like you guys might get some extra visitors at the gates...it's okay, we have them up here in Dallas too, and it seems to deter the idiots for the most part.

I stayed up later than normal then my dog Painter had me up at 4am so I chose just to be a lazy fart.

The next boring Lamborghini seen will be the first. Can't say that about Ferrari.

Since C&C looks finished, wondering what level of car you need to have at SCS. Will certainly only be one car like mine in town, but is it special enough?

 

Really? The only non-boring car there was the 288 GTO.

 

i cannot believe it! i was going to bring my CS out but decided not to and some really cool cars decided to show up!

 

There were two Toyota celicas there and a Nissan. He said they have overflow space in the garage. My 308 was welcome.
