    Anyone going to the Houston MSR race this weekend?

    I'll be driving over Friday night towing Challenge car to race Saturday and Sunday.

    Where are you staying? I went down to drive the track a few weeks ago, and was welcomed to the Greater Houston area by having my truck lock "popped" and the pad-lock cut off my trailer by two-bit thieves who really cleaned up on a bunch of miscellaneous race stuff. Is there a market for stolen Hot-Lap equipment and tripods?

    Anyway, should be a nice weekend of NASA racing. Rob Lay will you be there?

    Man, I'm not sure where you'd stay that far out on Hwy.288, *scratching head*.....Pearland?

    Coming straight back into Houston puts you in kind of a bad area, off S. Loop 610....

    I'll let others chime in....

    PM me if you want to park at our place. But it's North side, right off 610 Loop at Ella.....

    I haven't been to the new track yet. Are spectators allowed this weekend?

    I'm sure spectators will be allowed this weekend. It is a very nice new facility.

    Did the track offer any places to stay, close by?

    Alvin, Pearland, south is Freeport, good seafood there, on the beach!

    I think Rob is running the RX8, this year.......maybe Moorespeed, from Austin??

    Mark, I'm getting ready for the double national in the RX8. That is the priority this year.

    I'll make it down there at least once this year. I love driving new tracks. I might not even run the March MSR at Cresson. The next weekend is a R/N. We'll see, the Challenge is running great though.

    Dena sent out a list of hotels, but I've heard there aren't many close.
