Hows it goin, I was wondering if anyone here is/or knows of a real estate lawyer in the Houston area. My mom owns a property out there and someone tried to set it on fire, casueing some severe damage. It gets complicated, hense the lawyer, beacuse apparently the HOA couldnt afford fire insurance and never informed her, nor did the mortgage company. My mom is sterssing out right now and I figured that there were some very informative people on this forum so I am trying to do whatever i can to help ease her tensions. She had to fly out there last week from San Diego for a day to check the property. She dosent know to many people out there so it makes the situation even more difficult since commuication is difficult with all parties involved. Thanks for any advice, input, or refrences

    Sadly I do know a few.......LOL!

I'm here and if I can help let me know.....

Electrical Construction contractor...$.5M - $10M +..........or I could steer her to some reputable smaller scale firms.....let me know.

No substitute for extensive burglar/fire alarm monitoring these days.

Is this a condo or townhome or something??

its a town home, the sad part is that i doubt an alarm would have stopped it since nothing was stolen on lit on fire. She needs the laywer cause insurance was dropped and she was never informed so it was not covered. Thanks for the replies
