There is plenty of parking at 7 AM as most businesses are closed. Come one come all so long as you are an exotic car lover. I don't have a car list. I will be there in my 308.
Ill be there in my vette, since the 348 is in the shop...tentatively .. we'll see how the night goes.. its a little over an hr drive for me.
Had a great time.. even thought i was odd man out..haha.. bout i did get about 3.5 hrs of driving in today.. so all and all it was a great day.. now if i can get the 348 out of the shop.. it would be prefect..haha BTW.. here is a quick pic so you know what to look for next time. yes sir.. 68 pro touring car.. air ride and a compete LQ4 6.0 with a 4l80 trans drive train out of a 2500hd truck with a few mods done... its just my "cruise to sonic on Saturday for a chocolate malt " car The best thing about it is that it starts up and runs like a new car. I also have ac and digital gauges for it that i just haven't put in yet. Shop is 10 ft ceiling. I also built it myself and did it with the thought of having a 4 post lift. The lift has caster so I can move it around in the shop if i choose to. I have the center of my chop cut out for "friends" cars that are taller so that is around 14 ft tall. thanks for setting this up & it was great to meet everyone who came out. look forward to the next time... nice garage josh!
Sounds good to me.. I BBQ every Saturday night after the local sonic car show.. usually fiatas or something like that. One of the last times I had a few friends over we had something like 12000 hp in the driveway..so cars around here is nothing new. Now..ill warn you.. I do live in the country.. so.. be prepared..
Ok let's have a competition........ what does "live in the country" mean to you? My country home, our ranch, is 4.5 miles up a gravel and dirt road halfway between Centerville and Jewett, Texas. It is in the boonies! I've invited a couple of fchat guys up and I always laugh when they say, "Oh thanks, I'll bring the <insert exotic car name>." My response is always the same, "Uh no, you are not. You're driving your old piece of sh.. chevy or your kids pickup but you are not bringing the <insert exotic car name here>." Our ranch can best be described as an elegant rustic resort. Frankly it is beautiful. But our road? It is a dirt and rock path at best.
Pretty country up there. I am sure your place is gorgeous. Probably a nice getaway from the city, and a fairly quick drive to get there!
