    Wolfsmiths Heights has opened on 26th Street just west of Shepherd. They bill themselves as "Houston's First Moto Café". And that's exactly what it is, a combination motorcycle repair shop and coffee bar. They specialize in air cooled bikes and there were a bunch of opposed twin BMWs and a Ducati on display when I went by yesterday.

    Pretty cool. Knew a guy in Austin that had planned to do something similar, but don't think he got it off the ground. Will be interesting to see how the business goes, hope it's successful!

    Cool. I almost opened a BMW motorcycle shop over 20 years ago. Instead of the sterile look, I was going with wood floors and paneling, a few old leather couches, a place to hang out.

    BMW instead gave the dealership to Lyle Lovett. Oh well.
