######SPOILER!!!!####### They hunted them for food?! Lol, I didn't get that at the time I watched the movie The crop circles are indee nice. How did they invade deserts or mountains? Guess you'll struggle a bit conquering the universe when you are limited to planets where grass etc grows... I also wondered why they attacked the farm house at all... I mean, there might be more obvious targets on Earth than a farm in the middle of nowhere... ######SPOILER!!!!#######
Kirk sold out, throw this on on the pile, horrible sci-fi flick ** language warning for those at work** ** put the headphones on** http://www.youtube.com/v/d4TkwJclkiY&hl
Perhaps it is a matter of expectations. IIRC the trailers for Gattaca looked great, and I went to the theater on opening night anticipating a great movie, but it wasn't even a good movie. I'm sorry, but any movie that uses urinalysis as a major plot development tool (not to mention during the climax scene before Ethan hawke boards the rocketship), the movie as a rule sucks in my opinion. Someone else mentioned Starship Troopers as a bad movie, and it is perhaps the other way for me. I had no expectations, but found it entertaining. It didn't take itself seriously at all, unlike Gattaca. To each his own of course.
