    Over that past few days, we have rolled out a new Twitter account "FerrariParts_Ops" which is designed for operations-type announcements to our customers. You may have already noticed this on our website. This Twitter account will include notifications such as:

    * customs delays on inbound/outbound shipments
    * weather related issues with our shipping
    * I.T./Website/Telephony issues with www.ricambiamerica.com
    * unplanned closures or exceptional circumstances which may affect some customer orders

    This Twitter feed is not intended for product announcements, marketing, or back-n-forth communications. Unlike our other social media accounts, this one, FerrariParts_Ops is soely managed by me.

    The goal is to offer a push-type notification to customers who chose to follow our operational status without visiting the Ricambi America website. Moreover, new Tweets concerning our daily operations will also display as a lower banner on our website. A click of the "X" will close the banner, until a new Tweet is issued. If you leave the Tweet alone on our website, it'll disappear anyway within 1 day, or when the operational situation has been resolved.

    I'm not entirely sure how this functionality will be received, but we're going to give it a try! Anything we can offer to provide clearer and faster customer updates and communications should be a worthwhile endeavor.

    Thank you.
